The Jeep Story
Jeep began as the Willys-Overland Co. in 1908. Created during World War II, the Jeep brand earned its reputation during more than six decades of utility and performance. In 1970 the company became the Jeep division of American Motors, which was then acquired by Chrysler in 1987.
