2010 Toll Holden Racing Team V8 Supercar Commodores unveiled

The Toll Holden Racing Team unveiled its 20th anniversary edition V8 Supercar Commodores today ahead of the 2010 V8 season.
The aggressive livery, designed by Holden Design’s Peter Hughes, is an evolution of past HRT designs.

  • Good
  • Looks tougher than the average light hatchback
  • All-wheel-drive will be handy in the snow (as far as the car park, anyway)
  • Decent level of standard equipment
  • Bad
  • Anti-lock brakes optional until 2004
  • Wheezy engine struggles, especially with automatic gearbox
  • High centre of gravity

Holden Commodore SV6

IMG_3459-625x416Death by Holden, that’s what it felt like. First the Calais V-Series, then the Statesman and finally the Omega… I wasn’t sure I could cope with any more Aussie lions.

With that frame of mind I lumbered over to Holden to collect the SV6 I was booked into. Expecting yet another six-speed automatic – which I was slowly growing to hate – I was subtly surprised to find a gear stick and three pedals.
