Territory adds a star for $2

A front passenger seatbelt reminder light will be added to all TS, TX and Ghia and Turbo Territorys from January 1, giving the car the best-possible Australasian New Car Assessment Program crash rating.
A simple $2 component will help lift the Ford Territory crash rating from four to five stars from next month.

2011 BMW 740 Brings Back 6-Cylinder Engine

BMW will feature a six-cylinder, 315-hp engine on 7-series cars available in North America.

In continuing its fuel-efficient efforts, BMW will reintroduce a six-cylinder 7-series for the North American market at next month’s Detroit Auto Show.

Get rid of the cameras

Commissioner Bob Atkinson said he would remove cameras as soon as the toll dropped, but he is on safe ground with the Queensland toll going the wrong way through 2009 despite every effort by the police.

Here’s an interesting idea. How about removing speed cameras if the road toll drops?

Audi TT RS unleashed: First drive review

Audi has released its first-ever RS model TT.

The hotter quattro all-wheel drive coupe is powered by a turbocharged direct injection 2.5-litre TFSI five-cylinder engine that can trace its origins back to Audi’s motorsport heritage and in recent years various Volkswagen commercial vehicles.

DISCOVERY 4 WINS AGAIN

On December 1st, Discovery 4 was hailed as Best All Terrain 4 Wheel Drive, in Australia’s Best Cars Awards, 2009, voted by Australia’s seven state key motoring organisations, including the NRMA and RACV. This win follows the announcement on November 27th, that Discovery 4 had won Drive’s Car of the Year for Best 4WD, 2009.
